Commute to our Office Space, Sandyford

The Glasshouses office space, Sandyford, is easy to get to by car or public transportation. If you do not drive or wish to travel by bus or train for other reasons, then Sandyford is perfect. 

If you live near a Luas, there is the Sandyford and Stillorgan stops. The Stillorgan Luas stop actually brings you closer to the beacon south quarter. The Luas can be a pleasant alternative to the bus if you get motion sick. However, if you do not live near a Luas, here are some of the bus routes that pass through Sandyford: the 11, 47, 75, 114, or 116 buses. Any of these buses can bring you comfortable to work with minimal hassle.

Since it is close to the M50 you can drive from surrounding areas such as Dundrum, Stepaside, Tallaght, and Templeogue to name only a few of Dublin South’s residential areas. Luas Park & Ride

You may park at any of the Luas Park & Ride after purchasing a ticket from the ticket machine on the platform. To save fuel, and the planet, we recommend driving to your nearest Luas stop and then riding the Luas to Sandyford. If you wish to just drive to Sandyford you can still park there. Luas park & ride is €2.00 for 4 hours or less, so if you stay 4-8 hours it would be €4.00

Beacon South Quarter

The Beacon South Quater has its own parking lot. This is a little bit more expensive than the Luas park & ride depending on how long you are staying. It is also a little bit closer to the office space, Sandyford. The first two hours are free. So these rates are perfect if you’re just nipping into the shop for some groceries, or going to the gym. After the two hours is up, the third-hour cost is €4. The fourth-hour cost is €6. Then the rest is free for 24 hours. 

Comparison from our Office Space Sandyford

If you are just popping in for less than two hours, you should definitely use the beacon parking. However, if you are starting from anywhere between an hour and a half to 8 hours the Luas Park & Ride is more cost-efficient. If you plan on staying a full day (over 8 hours) we would recommend the Beacon South Quater Parking in Sandyford. 

Coffee Beside your Office Space, Sandyford

The Coffee Shot beside our Office Space Sandyford

The Coffee shot is a cafe in the Beacon South Quarter. If their friendly staff wasn’t enough to make you go back, their selection of cakes will be. They have everything from vegan protein balls to pastries to doughnuts. For breakfast and lunch, they have an assortment of sandwiches and sausage rolls (meaty and vegan). On top of that, they serve delicious coffees, smoothies, milkshakes and teas. The coffee shot has outdoor and indoor seating in the middle of the square. So you can enjoy a coffee there with a friend, client or colleague. 

Starbucks

Starbuck is Right next door to the coffee shot. They have all of the classics, as in every Starbucks, and serve basic sandwiches, and fruit salads.

Humble Pie near Office Space Sandyford

Humble Pie is also in the Beacon South Quarter alongside the coffee shot and Starbucks. This sandwich shop serves delicious toasties, snacks and outstanding coffee. The staff are always incredibly welcome ing and friendly, making it a warm and enjoyable place to eat in or take out. 

Lunch Near Your Coworking Space in Sandyford

Michie Sushi beside Office Space Sandyford

Michie Sushi is a sushi and noodle bar where you can dine in or take away. Not only are they amazing for a delicious to go to for a quick lunch, but they also do platters. There are great gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options too. 

This means you can buy large sets of sushi from Michie Sushi for work events or late nights. This is an incredibly useful and delicious place to have only a two-minute walk from our Sandyford offices space.

Zambrero

Zambrero is healthy a Mexican inspired restaurant that does delicious burritos, bowls, tacos and more. Mexican is always a tasty choice for a quick on-the-go meal. For every burrito purchased there, they donate a bowl to someone in need with Plate 4 Plate. They also have great vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Elephant & Castle

Elephant & Castle is a nice restaurant to go to for a sit-down meal, two minutes from our Sandyford office space. The food is classic, salads, pasta, steak and more. They always have a beautiful ambience and incredible chicken wings.

Zaytoon 

Zaytoon serves fresh kababs. These are a great lunchtime meal but probably not somewhere you would bring a client (or a date) as they get quite messy. 

Green Mango

Green Mango serves award-winning Thai food, only a two-minute work from our office space, Sandyford. They do delivery or collection, no eating in. However, perfect for picking up on your way home or for lunch to eat out in the sun. 

Pizza Hut

A Pizza Hut is close by for when you have a craving for something covered in cheese.

Wowburger

Wowburger is now a part of Elephant & Castle but their own food. Burgers and chips are galore from this restaurant.

Gyms in the Sandyford Industrial Estate

There are many options for gyms close to the office in Sandyford. From membership to class by class, Sandyford business park has got them all. 

Origin Fitness beside our Office Space Sandyford

Origin Fitness is a membership gym where you go for classes or personal training. They have a large warehouse space with a big door that can be opened up for summer. They also have a backyard area to do outdoor training when covid restrictions limit them or it is a warm day. Origin offers student discounts for memberships including nutritional advice. 

Crossfit Sandyford

Crossfit is a high-intensity workout class located in the Stillorgan business park. Only a five minute walk away from our Sandyford office space. You can get a class pass for €15 or membership for €149.

F45 Sandyford

F45 Sandyford is located in the Beacon South Quarter shopping centre that offers high-intensity classes to members. There are many F45 locations around the city, so you can go to different classes depending on whether you’re at work in the office space, Sandyford, or at home

Dunnes Stores Sandyford

Right in the Beacon shopping centre, only a two-minute walk from the Glasshouses office space, Sandyford, there are Dunne stores. Here you can do your hoping for clothes, food or homeware. This particular Dunne store has a Nourish inside, which is a health food store. This means there is a wide range of various supplements and gluten-free and vegan options. They also have fresh bread, meats, vegetables and fish. 

Aldi Sandyford

If you are looking to do your food shopping on a bit more of a budget, then Aldi is perfect for you. Only a 5-minute walk from the office space, Aldi is a very cost-efficient option for your grocery shop. With delicious ready-made meals, vegetables, gluten-free and vegan options, and everything else a shop needs.

About the Glasshouses Office Space Sandyford

The Glasshouses are purpose-built private offices and hot desk spaces in Dun Laoghaire and Sandyford. These spaces are used by professionals who wish to have an office for themselves and employees, or just to get out of the house for two/ three days a week. We have three locations at the moment, with a fourth in the making. GH1 is a Dun Laoghaire office space. GH2 is another Dun Laoghaire office space, and then of course there is our office space, The Glasshouses Sandyford.
